Creating an Amazon Author Central Page

This post is part of the Publishing Resources Guide. Read more about Pre-Publication.

Having an Amazon Author Central page is an excellent way to display all your books for sale on Amazon in one place. It gives a reader a quick and easy way to find – and buy! – all your books at once. It also allows readers to follow your profile and get alerts when you publish a new book. These are both free and fantastic opportunities for passive marketing that you don’t want to miss. Once it’s set up it’s easy to maintain by making sure your new books show up there and occasionally refreshing the other elements of the page.

Not sure what an Amazon Author Central Page is? Check out these great examples:

Notice what you can do with your page:

  • Post an author photo and bio, introducing yourself and making you more personable to the reader
  • Share your latest blog posts
  • Include book trailers and other videos
  • List your website, where readers can find whatever you want them to find at the site you control

Note: you don’t have to have published the book through KDP to have an Author Central page. Anyone with a book for sale on Amazon can set up a page.

Here are some resources to help you get your page set up:
